Mysore-Style Ashtanga Yoga
Eva is the founder and director of Ashtanga Yoga School Noordhoek where she has been teaching a daily Mysore program since November 2021.
Ashtanga is a traditional style of yoga that consists of a set sequence of postures where each movement is synchronized with the flow of your breath. Mysore-style is the traditional method of learning Ashtanga yoga. Students receive one-on-one guidance and learn to practice in a way that is suitable to their own abilities and level of experience. This online Sanskrit Course has been created specifically for yoga teachers and curious yoga practitioners with the main focus on correct pronunciation. It is my sincere hope that this course will inspire participants on their yogic path, give them confidence in their use of Sanskrit and awaken a curiosity for the teachings of yoga beyond the physical practice.
It is a self-study course containing over 6 hours of video and audio content as well as a 25 page manual. You'll have lifetime access which means you can work through it at your own pace, in your own time.
